Kristy L. Andrews was born and raised in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and currently lives in Northport, Alabama. She comes from a family full of artists and grew up watching and painting with her Grandfather. It wasn't until the pandemic began that Kristy decided to really share her work with others. She is inspired by the beauty of nature and tries to capture it using acrylics, oil pastels, and occasional mark-making with pencils.

Expression is not about perfection and creating has helped her through some difficult times. Painting colorful flowers has a wonderful way of brightening the day. When Kristy is not painting, she is spending time with her family and traveling to the Alabama coast or New Orleans, where she finds an abundance of inspiration.
