Maria was born in Portugal, raised in Canada, and now maintains an active painting studio in Revelstoke, British Columbia, Canada. She’s worked creatively in both two - and three-dimensional mediums, her primary focus is now oil painting. Maria’s love of painting the unusual stems from her ability to focus on the minutiae, the beauty and the humor often overlooked in everyday life.
