CHRISTINE SO @christinesogallery
Christine So’s cyanotypes are a form of 19th-century lensless photography also known as photograms, blueprints, and sun prints. She prints her botanical monotypes with local plants and photographs landscapes of nearby woods. Her abstract cyanotypes using experimental techniques evoke the faraway blue hills of San Francisco seen from across the bay. So’s works hang in the Starbucks Headquarters, Mayo Clinic, Hotel Monaco, hospitals, and private collections in ten countries.
