Kevin was born in California and raised in rural Nevada, now residing in Henderson. A member of the Oil Painters of America and the American Oil and Acrylic Painters Society, he developed a love for drawing and painting outdoors from a young age. While working in law enforcement, he improved his art through an unconventional approach to education. "I didn't enjoy the formal approach to art education, so I set out to immerse myself in specific areas of interest, largely due to my impatience to paint what I could see and feel." Though he paints various subjects, he loves most to create visual impressions that capture perfect moments of light and atmosphere in landscapes, evoking emotion in viewers.
